These strange yet lovable beings visualize how emotions coexist and depend on one another, inviting a gentle reflection on care and survival. The collection spans digital drawings and looping animations, bridging on-chain NFTs with physical exhibitions. Produced with support from the ABB Art & Technology Support Program 2025.

〈씨앗을 옮기는 모기〉는 상처의 기원이 외부로부터 시작되었음을 은유적으로 드러낸 애니메이션 작품이다.

작품 속 모기는 자의 의지와 관계없이 다가와, 의식과 무관한 ‘씨앗’을 옮긴다.

여기서의 씨앗은 내면에 심긴 감정의 잔재를 뜻하며, 모기는 예상치 못한 상황이나 타인으로 인한 내면의 상처적 침투를 상징한다.

불쾌하면서도 지나칠 수 없는 이 존재는, 상처의 기원이 얼마나 조용히 그리고 은밀하게 다가오는지를 시각적으로 환기한다.

“Mosquito Carrying the Seed” is a digital animation that metaphorically reveals how the origins of wounds often begin from the outside.

In the work, the mosquito approaches without consent, carrying a “seed” beyond one’s awareness.

This seed symbolizes the emotional residues implanted within, while the mosquito embodies the involuntary intrusion of pain caused by unexpected situations or others.

Both disturbing and unavoidable, this entity serves as a reminder of how quietly and insidiously the origins of wounds can enter our inner lives.
