The Daegu Intangible Cultural Heritage Association aims to preserve and develop the unique intangible cultural heritage of Daegu, and to pass on the value of this heritage to future generations through systematic and organized transmission activities. The association consists of a total of 19 items, including 17 items designated as Daegu intangible cultural heritage and 2 items as national intangible heritage.

- 작품설명: 예로부터 사찰의 법당에 수많은 작은 불상을 만들고 그 아래에 신도 개인의 이름을 적어 건강과 복운을 기원하는 원불신앙이 성행해 왔는데, 이 작품은 한국 최초로 조각이 아닌 그림으로 원불을 묘사하고 각 부처님 무릎 아래 칸에는 금니(金泥)로 축원자의 이름을 적었다.

Description: Historically, it has been a common practice to create numerous small Buddha statues in temple halls, with the names of individual devotees written beneath them to wish for health and good fortune. This artwork is the first of its kind in Korea to depict the Buddha of the vow not in sculpture but in painting. In the sections beneath each Buddha's knee, the names of the devotees are inscribed in gold powder (金泥).
