The Daegu Intangible Cultural Heritage Association aims to preserve and develop the unique intangible cultural heritage of Daegu, and to pass on the value of this heritage to future generations through systematic and organized transmission activities. The association consists of a total of 19 items, including 17 items designated as Daegu intangible cultural heritage and 2 items as national intangible heritage.

- 작품설명: 영산회상도란 부처님 당시 인도 마가다국의 영취산에서 석가모니가 법화경을 설하는 장면을 압축하여 묘사한 그림이다. 이러한 영산회상도는 보통 석가모니 불상의 후벽(後壁)에 걸리는 그림인데, 부처님 뒤에 걸린다고 해서 후불탱화(後佛幀畵)라고 부른다. 이 작품은 가운데 전법륜인(轉法輪印)의 손 모양을 한 석가모니를 중심으로 좌우로 문수, 보현 등 10대보살이 위치하고, 양 가역으로 사천왕(四天王)이 외호(外護)를 하고 있으며, 위로는 10대 제자와 금강, 호계대신, 복덕대신 등을 묘사한 전형적인 영산회상도인데, 특이할 점은 한분 한분 권속(眷屬)마다 금니로 명호(이름)를 적어놓은 것이다.

Description: Yeongsan Hwaesangdo depicts the scene where Shakyamuni Buddha delivers the Lotus Sutra on Mount Gyeongchuk in the Magadha region of India during his lifetime. This type of painting is typically hung on the back wall behind a statue of Shakyamuni Buddha, and is therefore referred to as a "Huhbul Taenghwa" (後佛幀畵), meaning "hanging painting behind the Buddha." In this artwork, Shakyamuni Buddha is depicted at the center with the hand gesture of the Dharmachakra Mudra (轉法輪印), flanked by the Ten Great Bodhisattvas, including Manjushri and Samantabhadra, on either side. The Four Heavenly Kings are positioned at the sides, providing protection, while above them are depicted the Ten Great Disciples, along with the Vajra Deity, the Guardian Deity, and the Deity of Fortune. A distinctive feature of this piece is that each figure has their name inscribed in gold leaf, highlighting their individual identities.
