작품 소개

In Wislawa Szymborska's book "Koniec i początek", the poem of "Question to Me" tells a story of the awkward and mysterious sense of distance that comes from human encounters. The subject of the work is to talk about the wall of conversation. Just as the text sympathizes with the inner meaning in type or plate shape, our conversation should overlook the inner meaning of the story with the expression of our face. The speaker is a "wall of conversation" to survive in a harsh world, decoding the dishonest side because he is afraid of being damaged. Sometimes when it's time to have a conversation and be alone, I look back. They ask me a number of questions thinking about the true meaning of the words uttered and the words I heard in them. Many of those conversations are the light of time again.

This small space may be a stage for me. One day on the stage, I constantly have thoughts or conversations. They are different beings, think completely differently and say different things. The person sitting across from me doesn't know what's going to happen.

When the time in my plan moves faster, I arrive in the dark and deep inner world within me, think about time again, and capture the space of time to ponder my inner wounds.

‘끝과 시작’이라는 비스와바 쉼보르스카 책에서 ‘나에게 던지는 질문’의 시에서 인간의 만남에서 오는 어색하고 알수 없는 거리감에 대한 이야기가 나온다.  작품의 주제는 대화의 벽에 대한 이야기를 하고 싶다. 글은 활자나 판형으로 속 뜻을 공감하듯이, 우리의 대화는 얼굴의 표정으로 이야기의 속 뜻을 간과 해야 한다.  말하는 이는 대충 이야기 하고, 얼버무리듯 손해라도 입을까 겁에 질려 솔직하지 못한 면모를 해독해 가며 냉혹한 세상에서 살아남기 위한 『대화의 벽』이다.  때론 대화를 하고 혼자 있는 시간이 되면 다시금 되짚어 본다. 내뱉어진 말과 담아 들은 말의 진의를 생각하며 나에게 여러 질문을 던져낸다. 그 많은 대화가 다시금 내리쬐는 시간 들의 빛이다.

이 작은 공간이 나에게 무대일 수도 있다. 무대 위에서의 하루는 생각 혹은 대화를 끊임없이 펼쳐 낸다. 서로 다른 존재이며, 완전히 다른 생각을 하고 다른 말은 한다. 무슨 일이 벌어질지 내 건너편에 앉은 이는 속마음을 모른다.

내 계획 속에 있는 시간이 더욱 빠르게 움직일 때 쯤 내 안의 어둡고 깊숙한 내면의 세계에 도착하여 다시금 시간을 되새김 질하며 내면의 생채기를 더듬어 보는 시간의 공간을 담아 내본다.
